Our Head of School is Mr Jonathan Merrett. Mr Merrett has been a Headteacher in the UK (for 6 years working in Oxfordshire and Warwickshire) and has worked in international schools in Zambia, Romania, Belgium and Egypt. He has experience of working with the English National Curriculum, with the International Baccalaureate programmes and with national programmes of the countries in which he has lived. He is a musician by training and Jill, his wife, works at BISC. Of his children, Ben is an enthusiastic student at BISC while Jake is a Creative Arts student in Canterbury, UK.

This is a great school! It is a pleasure to work here with a team of dedicated teachers and administrators and all their efforts are reflected in dynamic classrooms where excited and interested learners are encouraged to achieve the best they can. Our small class sizes mean all pupils are supported and challenged in their learning and our student body is active, high achieving and, also, a pleasure to work with!
