The British International School of Cracow (BISC) is an independent school which was founded in order to provide a top quality education for the growing international community in Cracow, based upon the English National Curriculum. The BISC opened on 1st September 1995, and now educates approximately 160 pupils from twenty five different countries.

Andy Harris GLCM & LLCM from London College of Music, MTC from London University. He has extensive teaching experience in England and Poland and is a published composer who has written several musicals for children. |

Wendy Murphy GBSM & ABSM from Birmingham Conservatoire, PGCE from Leeds University. She also has extensive teaching experience in England and Poland and wrote articles for 'The Warsaw Voice' when teaching at St Paul's International School in Warsaw. |

Wieslaw Oginski MGR in Mathematics, Philosophy & Teaching from the Jagiellonian University, Kraków. Previously he was the Headmaster of 'World' Private Liceum No. 4, Kraków. |

Pawel Zalewski MGR in English Philology & Teaching from the Jagiellonian University. Previously he was the the co-owner of 'World' Private Liceum No. 4, Kraków and is currently the Director of Administration of BISC. |
BISC is a member of ECIS (European Council of International Schools) and CIS (Council of International Schools), and is accredited by two English examing boards: Cambridge University and AQA. This entitles students to sit IGCSE (International General Certificate in Secondary Education), A-level (Advanced level), and AS level (Advanced Subsidiary level) public examinations on the school’s premises. The average pass-rate for public exams at BISC is 85% in the top category (A - C grades). Over the years, BISC school leavers have been placed at highly respected universities round the world.
